If you like grey-scale in your breeding group, these are great colours to keep together. Not only do they breed true colours between themselves the persentage of colours produced is also possible. You can even guarantee colours using certain breeding groups. 

Interestingly the 'tone' of Blue can vary between as pale as Lavender (self-blue) and as dark as Black.
