Silver Millefleur

work in progress

This map is more of a guide than something set in stone, due to there being more and one combination of different genes that combined look like Millefleur. Also Millefleur markings vary even if 2 well marked birds are bred together.  It also must start Light (Silver) Columbian Rooster x Millefleur Hen.

Gen X. Light Columbian x Millefleur Hen =

Gen 1. Yellow Columbian Split Mottled x Light Columbian Split Mottled =

Gen 2. Silver Millefleur Rooster x Silver Millefleur Hen = 100% Silver Millefleur.

50% Light Columbian Split Mottled Females.

50% Yellow Columbian Split Mottled Males.

The 'Yellow' colour that the males are described as is in reference to being split Silver/Gold.
not to be confused with Citron (lemon) which is a unrelated dilution.

In this instance it would be very difficult to predict the persentages of colours, though I can say columbian marking (and columbian type markings) would be the most common outcome. Also keep in mind Split Mottled and Mottled juveniles both have white spots. its only Mottled that keep the white into maturaty.
